Recommend this place and would definitely return here. The hotel was located next to the centre, the rail station across the road, and stadium. I had decent sized, updated room with the bath, the shower, as for instance. The rate was £ 38.

The staff was super cool and friendly, and they even helped us carry our bags up the stairs. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with tons of cool restaurants nearby. We had a blast exploring the famous Louvre-Lens Museum and watching an exciting soccer match at the Bollaert-Delelis Stadium. Definitely a great place for young people looking for fun!
If there's one thing that could have made our stay even better, it would be having a party room or a rooftop terrace where we could chill and have some fun with our friends. It would have been awesome to have a cool space within the hotel to hang out and enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Lens.

We had a great stay at De France! the staff was friendly and the location was perfect, right on a main street with plenty of restaurants around. the room was cute and had been updated, with a comfortable bed. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, despite being in a central location. the proprietor even informed us that we could park our car for free at the nearby Gare. 👍.
